The Gorgon empire only accepted snakes, no wolves, devil cats, or other beasts were allowed. The Gorgon empire spent more than 2,000 years kidnapping humans and converting them into snakes.
The Gorgon empire had the ability to convert humans to snakes, bringing humans into their realm, Zetalo, and presenting them to the Voodoo priests.
After many years of preparation, the Gorgon empire put their plan into effect. Humanity was collapsing. A clan called "the Confederacy" ruled Europe. Their leadership was terrible as their economy was suffering, the people were in completely disarray, and many ethnic groups were being discriminated and shot onto the spot.
This created a hole in Europe's defenses. Rebellions rose up against the Confederacy which diverted the attention of the armies of countries while the Gorgon empire struck. The Confederacy bribed news stations and assassinated many people to contain the Gorgon empire's uprising, which lead to the world being oblivious to the Gorgon empire invasion.
After Europe was defeated, the Gorgon empire brainwashed many Confederate soldiers to their ideas, and converted them to snakes. Other Confederates became slaves. While the people of Europe, fearing the Gorgon empire, were grateful as well. The Gorgon empire gathered many volunteers and set their sights to Asia and North America.
The Gorgon empire, while having many disadvantages compared to humans, had huge advantages as well.
Snakes are stronger than humans, and the snakes also had magic at their side. When a warrior of the Gorgon empire fell, Voodoo priests could revive them in Zetalo. The Gorgon empire, while following traditional warfare and using the same tools, also used innovated technology. The Gorgon empire had the smartest family in the world, the Pon Peters.
