Anu
The god of death
History:
Death... a word that all know. Many think death is an abyss, but it is another realm. And who runs this realm? Anu, the god of death.
Anu is a wolven, an ancient race of savage beasts, mortals like us can imagine the wolven to be wolves that stand on their hind legs and with very, very sharp claws. Anu though, is not like the other wolven. He stands upright, and carries a staff called "synth of souls".
When the godden ruled, the godden had a nearly eternal war against the wolven. Anu was winning, as he led and created the wolven. The Diu, in one last desperate attempt, they killed themselves to bring light to the world, and from that light, Diu, the godden of eternity, was born.
Diu was given a constellation bow called "tyi lerka" which meant "bow of a million of stars" in the Godden langauge. Diu shot Anu to the Underworld, not killing him, but giving him a second chance.
Of course, Anu still hated Diu, and he began to raise an army of the dead.
Even still, Anu would always be on the opposite side of Diu. He supported Bellum, Phoenix, Azbane, ad many other gods. Surprisingly, Anu is also one of the three gods that does not fear Viroun. As a matter of fact, Anu liked Viroun, delivering Zarus to Anu's realm. But Anu would not protect Viroun, he still would not mind if Viroun died either way.
Reality:
Anu is named after Anubis, the god of the dead in ancient Egypt. The jackel-headed god is the son of Set, the god of darkness, and Nephthys. Set, however, was infertile, so Nephthys disguised herself as Isis, the wife of Osiris. And they created Anubis.
When Osiris died though, Anubis mummified him so his corpse could not decay.
Anubis attended the weighing scale, to weigh the hearts of the dead to see if they could enter the Underworld.
Fun fact: Anubis is the Greek name! The ancient Egyptians knew Anubis as "Anpu" (or Inpu)
