God of war and survival
Monsters exist all around us, but none is more bigger, or deadlier, than war. Bellum is that monster, with the waist and tail of a centipede but a body, head, and arms of a bear, Bellum marches on every blood-covered field of blood and despair.
Bellum is the brother of Azbane, the goddess of suffering. They both loved each other dearly, but when Azbane created the Blood realm, Bellum wanted his own realm.
Bellum did not fight Azbane, he made his own realm. He created an army of bears to watch over a mortal race, the foxes...
Foxes back then were forms of deities to the ancients, and with that, their habits and cultures were different from now days as well. The foxes were a pathetic race, weak, small, easily broken. Bellum relished this opportunity and enslaved their kind to create his realm. Similar to Phoenix and his Demon lands. Bellum put tight restrictions on the foxes while the bears watched over the slave foxes with every keen eye.
That wasn't until, Muneb, the golden pelted fox hero, appeared. Muneb was born and his parents were immediately killed. Muneb, was stricken by vengeance. He swore revenge on Bellum, but the god of war laughed and made him fight in his Colosseum, Muneb did not eat or drink for 4 years...
Bellum is a ferocious god, but he is no match to DIu. Bellum did the foolish move of attempting to team up with Anu. DIu, in anger, went over to Hatzun and said, "go to Bellum's realm and give your wisdom to one of the foxes!" Hatzun obeyed and went to Muneb. Giving Muneb his wisdom. Hatzun told Muneb all about Bellum, and said that in order to fight Bellum, he must not fight at all!
Hatzun then placed a shield of ever-lasting peace on Muneb; Muneb, heeding the words of Hatzun, challenged Bellum to a duel. The agreement was that if Muneb won, all the foxes would be freed, if Bellum won, he may slay Muneb. Bellum scoffed at the thought of a puny little fox challenging him to a duel.
On the field though, Bellum tried to charge at the fox... yet, he could not even get close to Muneb, trying everything he could, he could not touch the fox hero. After many attempts, Bellum ordered his bear army to destroy Muneb, yet they could not touch Muneb either. Bellum refused to release the foxes until Muneb actually fought him... but Muneb merely released the foxes, and escaped his unfinished realm.
Furious, Bellum sent bears to kill Muneb, but when the bears reached Earth, they became ignorant of their orders and began to roam as wild beasts. Bellum was completely outraged, he began to train himself... making himself stronger, and mastering all weapons known on Earth. Bellum then went to Earth and attempted to kill Muneb himself... but once again, he could not even touch Muneb.
Bellum was angry beyond comparison, but after many years of plotting his revenge... he realized that charging headfirst would not get him anywhere... Bellum, enlightened himself, thinking clearly on how to get his revenge... Bellum, at that moment, created strategy, tactics, advantages, and disadvantages. Bellum even created survival, attempting to starve or make one of his rogue bears kill Muneb... Muneb adapted and began to steal from other animals.
Bellum was not angered by this, for he actually relished this... the foxes became greedy. Bellum then went to Clockwork and asked him to create a golden necklace, Clockwork obeyed and created a beautiful necklace made of pure, flawless gold. Bellum then went to Medusa and asked her to curse the necklace. But Medusa demanded that Bellum owe her a favor... and Bellum agreed.
Medusa covered the golden necklace with a curse that would poison any mortal that touched it. Bellum's plan was in effect, and at the dead of night, Bellum managed to sneak the necklace into Muneb's den.
When morning came, Muneb woke up only to see a beautiful necklace laying on a table, Muneb's greed overtook him and Muneb put on the necklace... only to realize that it was a trap.
Bellum's revenge was complete, he sent the one that ruined him to the Underworld... but he still owed a favor to Medusa. Thousands of years later, Medusa finally asked him to come to
the Gorgon labyrinth.
Medusa told Bellum of her plans... to destroy the human race. Bellum laughed, saying that he would agreed to march with Medusa even without asking. Bellum was assigned an army of snakes, and he marched on the field of battle as an unstoppable tank.
Human survivors reported to their commanders that they saw a monster on the field, an unstoppable tank that bullets, explosive, and even radiation could not stop... Bellum, during the Great invasion, never lost a battle, even when all his men were dead, he would kill entire armies and leave with no scars, wounds, or pain showing...
Reality:
Bellum means "war" in Latin. There was an ancient Roman goddess named "Bellona", typically represented by her helmet, a shield, and a spear.
Bellum was to be represented in a somewhat similar fashion., except in a more animal-like style. A tail and legs of a centipede was supposed to show the horror of war, and the bear part of Bellum was supposed strength.
Bellum's shield and chestplate have an emblem, those emblems represent Bellum's sister, Azbane.
