Medusa
Goddess of poisons, venom, and snakes.
History:
Few monsters exist in this world... only one, known by a name whether it be feared or respected... Medusa, the gorgon.
This Medusa is not the one from mythology and legends of the Greeks thousands of years ago. but she had a similar story to that of said tale... Medusa was once a beautiful Greek maiden, the goddess was a mere mortal, but a beautiful one. Living in Athens, centuries ago, she was given golden hair that many described to be "beyond human," but it wasn't until one day, jealous humans breached her home, destroyed her precious relics, and stabbed her many times in the stomach. They left her for dead...
There were no investigations by humans, nobody came to Medusa. Medusa bled on the spot, Medusa always believed in the Underworld, but did not imagine it to be like this. She was greeted by the jackel-headed creature, Anu, the god of death. Anu saw Medusa's future... She could actually kill a lot of people without Diu's interruption. Anu broke Medusa a deal... A deal he never offered before... life.
Medusa couldn't refuse, she was forced to sacrifice her beauty to become what she is now, her golden hair turned into slithering serpents, her eyes turned those who dared look into her eyes into stone, and she became a taller, stronger, and faster form of life... a gorgon.
Medusa, blamed all humans for what happened to her. She started with all those who killed her, kidnapping them at the dead of night and lining them up, petrifying all of them. Her plan was in motion, but she needed an army if she wanted to punish all those who made her suffer.
Medusa kidnapped many people, brainwashing them and turning them into snakes. The snakes Medusa made did not have the ability to petrify and did not have serpents as hair.
One day, the god of fire, Phoenix, came to Medusa, both took a nearly instant liking to each other. Phoenix requested to take several young snakes to use for a private army he was building. Medusa gave him several snakes, but Phoenix understood how precious the snake warriors were to Medusa. So Phoenix gave something precious to Medusa... the helmet of Kane, a helmet worn by Kane himself. The ancient helmet was made of demon steel, an alloy that a bullet cannot even dent. Medusa added several "adjustments" to it so her serpent hair can fit through sockets she put in it, and put a Greek attachment to it to make her look like a queen. The Pon Peters themselves helped with the mask part, making a mechanical mask that looks beautiful at first but will open like a sliding door to reveal Medusa's true face.
And while her eyes were her weapons, Medusa did not repeat the same mistakes her mythology form did. Her neck was covered with a necklace made of pure demon alloy, her head covered with the helmet of Kane, her body and tail covered with kevlar.
It took Medusa many centuries, sending agents, convincing gods, modernizing her technology, and raising the number for her army to attack the humans. She started off with Europe, overtaking the countries with the element of surprise.
Reality:
Medusa is obviously the Greek gorgon. Stories tell that Medusa was once a beautiful maiden, with golden hair. She worshiped and devoted her life to Athena, the goddess of wisdom. Poseidon, the god of oceans though, wanted the maiden to himself. Poseidon wooed Medusa. Athena, knowing this sudden betrayal, cursed Medusa, turning her golden hair into hissing serpents. Anyone that gazed into her eyes turned to stone. Medusa fled her home, never to return...
